• Barry; A 52 year old unemployed male in receipt of incapacity benefits has taken part in Team East for Skills in order to access a short vocational course with the aim of gaining new skills and finding subsequent employment.


• David; Attended the first Team East for Skills workshop in Cambridge. Having been referred by the Job Centre he was, in his own words, unsure of what to expect and wondered if this sort of approach was right for him.


• Nigel; Is 57 and is a mental health service user from Harlow. Nigel joined the Team East for Skills project through a series of visual arts workshops held at Spurriers House Social Centre in Harlow.
