Tailor

Tailor first made contact with Zinc as a participant at an anger management project with Epping Forest Connexions when she was 14. Tailor has shown a keen interest in Zinc as an organisation and it’s work ever since. Now aged 17 Tailor holds no qualifications but the Team East for Skills project has enabled Zinc to support and nurture her aspirations to participate more in Zinc’s work. Initially Tailor took part in a one to one mentorship scheme to identify her key learning objectives and methods for achieving these. Since then Tailor has taken part in Team East for Skills workshops learning extensive arts and arts leadership skills as well as volunteering as an administration assistant in the office. Through this process Tailor has made herself so valuable to Zinc that she has now been appointed as a part time Project Administration Assistant. Tailor has long term career aspirations to stay within the arts and help people the way she has been helped. Tailor is also looking in to college courses so that she will be able to build her qualifications and one day go to university.
