Who are we?

Team East for Skills

Team East for Skills is a regional consortium of arts, sports and voluntary organisations. The project is inspired by London 2012. The members are:

COVER

COVER was founded in 2000 as the Community and Voluntary Forum: Eastern Region. We are a representative body for the voluntary and community sector in the region. COVER is a membership organisation, guided by trustees elected from our membership. Each of our full members is a network in its own right, giving us reach right across the voluntary sector and the region.

Creative Arts East

Creative Arts East is an arts development charity working within predominantly rural and disadvantaged communities in Norfolk and Suffolk. Founded in 1994, Creative Arts East delivers high quality arts events and activities with a strong focus on social inclusion.

Momentum Arts

Momentum Arts are passionate about creativity, diversity and inclusion, and is a catalyst for social change. We engage, inspire and connect people and communities in the East of England through creative arts projects.

Theatre Resource

Theatre Resource is a dynamic and forward-looking professional arts organisation, specialising in the area of disability arts and social inclusion. Our work promotes the creativity, culture and heritage of disabled people and socially excluded groups.  Activities and events we run are designed to open up ‘pathways’ into education, learning, and employment in and through the arts.

The Prince''s Trust

The Prince''s Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives.We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills such as confidence and motivation. We work with 14 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law.

Anglia Ruskin University

Anglia Ruskin University have years of real and relevant industrial and commercial expertise at the cutting edge of Business, Education, Science and Technology, Health, Arts, Law and Social Sciences. We partner a great many private and public sector organisations, applying our knowledge and skill to help them grasp opportunities and take crucial steps to achieve competitive advantage in the market place.

Volunteer Centres East

Volunteer Centres East is a network of district based Local Volunteering Development Agencies. They offer information and guidance on volunteering to new and existing volunteers and to volunteer-involving organisations and also work with other agencies in the overall development of the voluntary sector in the East Region.

SkillsActive

SkillsActive is the Sector Skills Council for Active Leisure and Learning. Directed by employers, SkillsActive aims to improve skills and productivity across sport and recreation, health and fitness, outdoors, playwork and caravan industries.
